GodSongs.net does not directly collect or maintain any individual data about users of this site.


Administrative data collection:

All web servers store some information about visitors, including (at least) IP address, browser and its configuration, the date and time of the visit and and details about how the visitor reached the site (from a referring page, or using what search-keywords).
This data is tracked for administration and maintenance purposes, and lets me know what articles readers are interested in. It is also used for administration and site-maintenance, and for promoting the site to potential advertisers. A key point is that it cannot personally identify visitors to this site, so is not considered as personal information.


Comments

There are sections on this site where it is possible to leave comments.  Readers who comment must be logged in, and may therefore leave personally identifying information.   The only information that is collected or stored by GodSongs.net is the login account that is provided.  This this is used only to respond to the comment(s) that are left.


Email Subscribers

There is an email-subscription option available to readers.  Email addresses (which may or may not be personally identifying) are collected from readers:   the services provided by Feedburner.com are used to ensure that the email-address-owner is the person who signed up for the service.  These addresses will only be used for the purpose of sending email updates (postings and other relevant announcements) to readers who have opted-in to the service, and readers will at all times have the chance to opt-out.
