Deep in the Spirit (If the Spirit of God lives in you)

This simple song is about expressing faithfulness to God, and especially the Holy Spirit, through song.

It was written by Australian Roman Catholic priest, liturgist and folk-musician, Fr Frank Andersen. It was originally published in his "Eagles Wings" collection and so is included in the Scripture in Song - The Music of Frank Andersen MSC which is still in-print. Both of these books include lead-sheet style sheet music.

It is set to an un-named tune, also by Andersen, which has a 4/4 time signature. It was originally published in the key of Bb, and the first few notes in this key are DE F FG F GA B.
