Come Let's Share in the Banquet of the Lord

The this simple Eucharistic song was written by South African born lay Franciscan, Sebastian Temple (1928-1997).

It was included on on his recording  Sing! People Of God, Sing! which was released under the Franciscan Communications Center label in 1971.   But unlike many other songs by Temple, it does not appear to have been published since, and no official sources of sheet music have been found.    The transcription below is based on versions of the tune used in the 21st century in Ireland.

Suitable for children, it can be used with mixed-age groups and it is popular among communities which have English as a unifying language.

Lyrics

Come let's share in the banquet of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament,
Come let's share in the supper of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament.

Chorus:
Eat the bread and drink the wine,
Flesh and blood of the Lord divine,
Share His life, it is yours and mine,
For we are one in His design.

Come let's share in the passion of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament,
Come let's share the resurrection of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament.

Come let's share in the ascension of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament,
Come let's share our union with the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament.

Come let's share in the life of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament,
Come let's share in the love of the Lord,
In the blessed sacrament.

    1. Hi - I'm not quite sure what you mean by "music-notes". The link above with sheet music has the tune written in standard notation, with guitar chords shown too. (See here if you are not sure how to download from it: http://www.godsongs.net/2016/02/download-files-without-requesting-access_16.html)

Also, the notes are given in ABC format at the bottom of the page.

If you are looking for something different again - perhaps you could say where to find an example of the type of notation you want?
