When the Lord Jesus was baptized
In the clear running waters of Jordan,
The heavens opened,
God's Spirit came down,
And he was filled with grace.

When we as children are baptized,
In the name of the living God,
The Spirit of God comes,
And fills us with grace,
To make us children of God.
