Lord Emmanuel Come (Bright and clear as a trumpet blast)

This hymn for Advent was written by English Roman Catholic priest, theologian and contemporary music composer, Peter McGrail (b 1959).

It was first published by OCP Publications in 1996, and re-published in 2002.  Downloadable sheet music is still available from them.

The unnamed tune has a 4/4 time signature, and in the key of Em the first few notes are E B B AB d B B B.
