The Supper of the Lord (Precious Body, Precious Blood)

This hymn about the Eucharist was written by American Roman Catholic musician and composer Laurence Rosania (b 1957), based on John 4, 6.

It was first published in 1994, and re-released in 2012.

It is set to an unnamed tune, also by Rosania. This has a 4/4 time signature. In the key of Y, the first few notes are CD E A A D D, with accompanying chords Ab / Db / Ab.
