Pray Hope and Don't Worry (Look at the birds in the sky) - Rudd

This is a contemporary song, inspired by the life and teachings of St Padre Pio.

It was written by American Roman Catholic musician and singer-songwriter, Jacob Rudd, and was the title-track of first album, released in 2017, which has songs combining the spirituality of several well-known saints with scripture.

The song is set to an unnamed tune by Rudd.

The lyrics are copyright so cannot be reproduced here. But they are currently available on this website. A rough outline is:
1  Look at the birds in the sky ...

Chorus:
Pray, hope and don’t worry
Everything we need, He will provide for us
Pray, hope and don’t worry
Every time we call Jesus, You’re here beside us.

2  Look at the flowers that grow, they don’t sow or reap ...

*  Prayer is the best weapon we have ...

3  Look at the grass that grows from the rain ...

*  Pray, hope and don’t worry ...

KEEP IN CASE ORIGINAL IS REMOVED, BUT DO NOT DISPLAY
1  Look at the birds in the sky
They don’t sow or reap
So do not worry and say
What are we to eat?

2  Are you not more important than they?
Yet your heavenly father
Feeds them everyday

Chorus:
Pray, hope and don’t worry
Everything we need, He will provide for us
Pray, hope and don’t worry
Every time we call Jesus, You’re here beside us.

3  Look at the flowers that grow
They don’t sow or reap
So do not worry and say
What are we to wear?

4  I tell you that not even King Solomon
In all of his splendor
was clothed like them

5  Prayer is the best weapon we have
It is the key to God’s heart
You must speak to Jesus
Not only with your lips
But also with your heart

6  Look at the grass that grows from the rain
So do not worry and say
What are we to drink?

7  But seek the Kingdom of God first
And His righteousness
And all of these things
Shall be given you besides

*  Pray, hope and don’t worry
Pray, hope and don’t worry
Pray, hope and don’t worry
