This is a simple hymn for Advent, petitioning for Christ's coming, and stating the need for his presence, peace and love.
It was written by English Roman Catholic teacher and liturgical musician Francesca Leftley (b 1955), and first published in 1986 by Kevin Mayhew Ltd, England.
