This song was written by English sound engineer, singer and Christian song-writer Martin James Smith (b 1970).

It was performed and recorded by Smith's band, Delirious? and first published by Curious? Music UK in 1995.

With meter with refrain, the tune is sometimes called SMITH. No sources of sheet music have been found.
