It has roughly equal number of hymns for intended for congregational use, for choir or cantor with congregation, and for choir alone. May of these are new settings of older works, which were created at Maynooth College for particular needs, and then continued to be used
The book was first published in January 2003. Typesetting was done by Raymond O'Donnell, photography by Brian Watters, and printing by Standard Printers, Ballybrit, Galway. The cover design is made from elements in a tapsestry of the Transfiguration, created by Patrick Pye in 2000 for St Mary's Oratory in Maynooth College. Copyright is help by St Patrick's College, Maynooth. The book is an A4 size, soft-cover with stapled binding. It does not have an ISBN number printed in it.
It was accompanied by recordings of the music on casssette and CD, which were sold separately. Both these and the book were distributed via Maynooth College after they were launched in 2003, and it is likely they are now out of print.
