Springs of Salvation (You will draw water joyfully) - Andersen

This folk-style hymn about the joy of salvation is based on Isaiah 12:2-6.

It was written by Australian Roman Catholic priest and composer Fr Frank Andersen MSC and originally published by Chevalier Publications in the "Everything I Possess" collection (which was later renamed Galilee Song).  It is also included in the Scripture in Song - The Music of Frank Andersen MSC collection, which is still available.   Both of these include sheet music for the hymn.

The song is included on the Gallilee Song recording, but at the time of writing there are no examples available on YouTube.

The unnamed tune was written by Fr Andersen: It has a 4/4 time signature, and in the key of E the first few notes are G G G A G F E F_F_  with accompanying chords E / F#m.

Lyrics

Chorus:
You will draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation:
You will draw water joyfully from the springs of salvation.

You are the God of my salvation;
I trust in you and have no fear.
You are the God of all my singing,
the one foundation of my life.

I will proclaim to all your people
the wonders you have done for me.
You are indeed a God of Goodness,
You draw me gently to your heart.

Let all who live upon God’s mountain
sing out in gladness and in joy.
The Lord of all is living with you,
The Holy one who calls to you.
