Called into service, called to be free;
you are called to be you, and I'm called to be me.

1. Children, come, with wide open eyes.
Look at the water, you have been baptised.
You're free from the slav'ry that bound you to sin,
so live now as children in the kingdom of heav'n.

2. We are saints! Forgiveness is sure
not of ourselves, but the Christ endured.
We're free from the Law that said 'You must provide!'
We're free to be servants; we're called; we're baptised.

3. Jesus closed the dark pit of death.
He has breathed on us with His holy breath.
He gives us the faith to respond to His News.
We're free to show mercy, to love, to be bruised.
