Abba Father (let me be)

This is a short worship chorus, expressing dedication to God.

It was written by English evangelical singer / song-writer Dave Bilbrough (b 1955), and first published by Kingsway's Thankyou Music in 1977.

It is set to an unnamed tune, also by Bilbrough. This has a 3/4 time signature. In the key of Bb, the first few notes of the melody are D_ F E_ G  F_ E D_ with accompanying chords Bb / Eb / F / Bb.
