Lyrics
There were twelve disciples Jesus called to help him:Simon Peter, Andrew, James, his brother John,
Philip, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus,
Thaddeus, Simon, Judas, and Bartholomew.
Chorus:
He has called us, too. He has called us, too.
We are His disciples, I am one and you!
He has called us, too. He has called us, too.
We are His disciples, I am one and you!
We are His disciples, I am one and you!
He has called us, too. He has called us, too.
We are His disciples, I am one and you!
Still today He's calling, seeking those to serve Him,
Some to tell the story of His love so true,
Some to seek the lost ones, bringing them to Jesus.
If you love the Saviour, He has work for you.
Some to tell the story of His love so true,
Some to seek the lost ones, bringing them to Jesus.
If you love the Saviour, He has work for you.

In the early 1960's I remember visiting my Aunt & Uncle's Methodist church. We sang this song several times while I was there. I loved it and have sung it from time to time over the next 58 years. The words are mostly the same, though the last line we sang was, "...and His work we'll do!"
