The song was written by Australian Roman Catholic priest, liturgist and folk-musician Fr Frank Andersen, and originally published in the "Everything I Possess" collection, which was renamed Galilee Song. It is included in the Scripture in Song - The Music of Frank Andersen MSC collection, which is still available. Both of there include lead-sheet style sheet music.
The tune was written by Fr Andersen: it has a 4/4 time signature, and in the key of C the first few notes are CD E CC F ED.
