Heal Our Land (If My people will humble themselves)

This is a song of petition for healing. It is based on 2 Chronicles 7:14

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." - King James Version (KJV)

The song was written by American music producer, arranger, engineer, and conductor and founding producer of Integrity Music and the Hosanna Music series, Tom and Robin Brooks. It was first published in 1988 by Integrity's Hosanna! Music.

In 2001, it was released by Filipino Roman Catholic pop/gospel singer, Jamie Rivera, and became popular in various countries in Asia. Some sources (incorrectly) credit it to Rivera. It was also recorded and widely shared in response to the 2019/2020 Covid-19 pandemic.

It is set to an unnamed tune, also by the Brooks. This has a 4/4 time signature. In the key of Ab, the first few notes are CD E_ DC C_ A, (GFG)
