The Zacchaeus Song (Jesus our Lord came to seek and to save) - The Porter's Gate

This is an all-age contemporary-folk style song, written from the perspective of Zacchaeus the tax-collector, whose story is told in Luke 19:1-10.

It is included in the Justice Songs collection, which was written and recorded by American Christian musicians and song-writers The Porter’s Gate Worship Collective in July 2020 while they were quarantined.   The words and tune are credited to Wendell Kimbrough, Paul Zach, Gregory Thompson, Isaac Wardell, Jessica Fox,  Orlando Palmer and Latifah Alattas.

It is set to an unnamed tune, also by the collective. This has a 3/8 time signature. In the key of Db, the first few notes of the melody are DDE FFA BBA F with accompanying chords Db / Gb / Db.

Song copyright is registered to Integrity Worship Music.  Sheet music doesn't appear to have been published anywhere (yet) - but at the time of writing, the Porters Gate are making it available for free download (link below).

Jesus sees Zacchaeus in the tree, and calls him to come down.

Lyrics

The lyrics are copyright so cannot be reproduced here. But they are currently available on this website. A rough outline is:
1  Jesus our Lord came to seek and to save ...

2   Much I have gained but I'll give even more

Chorus:
Salvation has come.
Salvation has come to this house today.

3  He said it's more blessed to give than receive ...

4  What I've taken from the poor: I will give it all away ...

5  Jesus our Lord comes to seek and to save ...

KEEP IN CASE ORIGINAL IS REMOVED, BUT DO NOT DISPLAY
Jesus our Lord came to seek and to save
He sought me out and He called me by name
Foolish and proud, like a sheep gone astray
He said, "Child, to your house I will come today"

Much I have gained but I'll give even more
Half of my wealth it was robbed from the poor
O this injustice! Lord, help me restore
For You called me by name and said, "Sin no more"

Salvation has come
Salvation has come to this house today

He said it's more blessed to give than receive
To open my hands to the ones I've deceived
To bring reparation of all I have thieved
Hallelujah, hallelujah, yes, now I can see

Salvation has come
Salvation has come to this house today

What I've taken from the poor: I will give it all away
And their cries won't be ignored: I will give it all away
Let Your justice be restored: I will give it all away
What I thought was mine is yours: I will give it all away

Jesus our Lord comes to seek and to save
The broken, the lost, and the sheep gone astray
O lay down your treasures, for they're just golden chains
He says, "Child, I will come to your house today"
