The verses are based on based on Mary's Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55).
The song was included on the album "Run, Come, See!" and published in the first volume of the Hymnal For Young Christians in 1966 by F.E.L. Publications.
It does not appear to have been included in any further books, and no current sources for sheet music have been located - but it is currently available here.
The unnamed tune, also by Blue, has a cut-common time signature. In the key of G, the first few notes are B c dc BA G_ AB cB AG F_ with accompanying chords G / Em / Am7 / D.
The text has also been set to an alternative tune composed by a class in the Philippines, which is available on this page.

Lyrics
The lyrics are copyright so cannot be reproduced here. But they are currently available on this website. A rough outline is:Chorus:
As the rain rushes down and the earth blossoms forth,
And the wind caresses every tree;
You can hear the turtle dove singing all throughout the land
Of the fair, young Virgin Mary.
1 My heart sings out with praise of my Lord.
My soul rejoices in God my Savior
For he has looked upon his servant tenderly,
humble as she is.
2 From this day forth all people who will ever be
Shall call me lovely and the happiest of women!
For my Lord, the One who can do all things
Has treated me wondrously!
3 His name is holy, and His mercy without fail;
It rests on those who fear Him in all generations.
And the deeds of his own right arm
Show forth His strength!
4 And he has scattered the proud
And pulled the mighty from their throne,
But the humble He has held and lifted high!
The hungry He fills with wondrous things,
The rich he sends empty away.
5 Yes, he has helped Israel His child;
He has not forgot His promise to our forebears;
His promise of mercy to Abraham
And his children's children forever!
Thank you for posting! This lovely song has played in my mind since hearing it at middle-school Mass in the 70s. Never could find it in later day hymnals as you have noted. So beautiful and inspiring! Loved being able to hear it again on your youtube clip. Thanks again! Lisa
