I'm Very Glad of God

This is a hymn for children, expressing gratitude for God's care.

It was written by English Baptist missionary's daughter, author and hymn-writer,  Alice Maud Pullen (1889-):  if you have any more information about her, please leave a message in the Comments box near the bottom of the page.

It is set to a tune, also by Pullen, which is sometimes called I'M VERY GLAD.   This has a 4/4 time signature. In the key of D, the first few notes of the melody are D F A F E D_
